Vologda will play host to the 24th International exhibition-fair Russian Wood on December 4-6, 2019.

The Russian Wood, exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles, will start its work in Vologda on December 4, 2019.

The international exhibition-fair is organized by the Vologda Region Government, Department of Timber Complex of the Vologda Region, RF Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Federal Forestry Agency and RF Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The International Fair and Exhibition "Russian Wood" boasts an excellent international representation year after year. Russian regions and foreign countries are involved in exhibition activities.

In 2018 visitors from twenty two Russian regions and five foreign countries, including Finland, Sweden, Latvia, Italy and Belarus participated in it. Over 70 units of logging and woodworking equipment were on display in its exhibition space.

The event is the meeting place for professionals of the field of forestry and sawmilling and woodworking machinery in general. It offers the visitors the widest selection of technology available in the market and helps the local industry of wooden products to further grow and to become even more competitive.

Within the framework of the exhibition-fair all the specified urgent issues concerning Russian forestry development, forest management, reforestation and timbered building are reflected in the rich exposition and comprehensive business program of the exhibition-fair.

The Russian Wood contributes to further development of wood industry and national economy and to establishing international commercial and industrial contacts.
