Vologda will host the 26th international exhibition-fair "Russian Forest" from December 8 through 10, 2021.
A meeting of the Russian Forest organizing Committee led by Deputy Governor Mikhail Glazkov summed up the results of the 25th international exhibition Russian Forest in Vologda.
Russian Forest, the 25th successive exhibition for innovation technologies to be applied in the timber industry, in production of technological equipment for forestry and manufacture of wood and wood-working articles gave an opportunity to be engaged in discussions with other professionals.
Last year's exhibition was held online and offline taking into account the epidemiological situation. Meetings, round-table discussions, workshops and press conferences were arranged within the framework of the exhibition-fair. Special attention was paid to effective forest management and reforestation, legal regulation of forest relations, personnel of the forestry complex, investments, and interaction of government and business circles.
Exhibitors from nineteen Russian regions and Republic of Belarus were involved in the exhibition activities. Logging and woodworking equipment was also on display.
For the previous years the exhibition has rightfully become one of traditional meetings for representatives of timber industry business, science, regional government bodies as well as Russian and foreign investors. During its history the exhibition-fair has been truly recognised by professionals as a leading industry platform for discussing a broad range of problems from reforestation to timber processing and waste management.
