Russian-Finnish cooperation in timbered house-building is to be discussed in Cherepovets.

Cherepovets is to host the 4th International conference devoted to wooden house-building and wood-processing on April 13-14, 2016. A lot of exhibitors and visitors are expected to come to Cherepovets to attend the exhibition to see the variety of houses made of timber and logs and frame-panel houses.

Experts from the world of timber industry from Russia, Finland and Germany will be stating their positions on current issues at meetings, workshops and press conferences, and will engage in wide-ranging discussions about problems and prospects in their own particular fields – design, construction and exploitation of wooden houses. The will also present new types of townhouse construction.

Finland is one of the leading providers of quality wooden houses. Finnish companies specialized in construction of wood houses, forest products and roofing materials will share their expertise with Russian participants. They will present new creative example of how logs can be utilised in a modern and compact urban environment.

The conference might become a perfect meeting place for professionals from building and manufacturing companies, designers, developers and architects.
