24th International exhibition-fair Russian Forest has come to a close.
Russian Forest - 2019, held in Vologda from 4-6 December, hosted over hundreds exhibitors from Russian regions, Finland, Belgium, the Czech Republic, and Belarus.
The event was the meeting place for professionals of the field of forestry and sawmilling and woodworking machinery in general and offered the visitors the widest selection of technology available in the market and helped the local industry of wooden products to further grow and to become even more competitive. The exhibition was visited by over 700 people.
All the specified urgent issues concerning Russian forestry development were reflected in the rich exposition and comprehensive business program of the exhibition-fair.
Over 70 units of logging and woodworking equipment were on display in its exhibition space. Russian Forest - 2019 was also the setting for a number of seminars and award ceremonies. Most public attention was paid to such forestry problems as intensive and efficient use of forest potential, application of state-of-the-art logging and wood processing technologies, bioenergetics development, fight against forest fires and other acute issues.
This unique exhibition provided the working dialogue between the government and forestry business society, international cooperation, efficiency of forest management and competitiveness of domestic wood products.
During its history the exhibition-fair has been truly recognised by professionals as a leading industry platform for discussing a broad range of problems from reforestation to timber processing and waste management. Closing the exhibition, Deputy Governor Mikhail Glazkov invited all the participants and guests to come to Vologda next year to participate in XXV International exhibition-fair Russian Forest.
