The Vologda Region (Russia) and Fergana Region (Uzbekistan) have been sustaining partnership ties for years. Over these years, the parties have implemented a whole range of joint projects.
Uzbekistan is one of the main foreign trade partners of the Vologda Region. During 9 months of 2020, the region's foreign trade turnover with the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to USD 102,8 mln.
Vologda’s entrepreneurs strive to develop partnership relations with Uzbekistan in such spheres as chemical, food, machine-building industries, and forestry.
